Here are a few steps you need to set-up a hotmail account using iPod Touch, And iPhone
Step 1
From your I phone or iPod Touch, go to “Settings”.

Then go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.

In there, go to “Add Account”.

Then go to the last option, which is “Other”.

Fill in the fields with your name, your hotmail address, your hotmail password and add a description if you want, then press “save”. It should take a while to confirm and setup your account.

You’re done! Go and check your e-mail from the main screen! It should load all your unread e-mails! If not, then you must have done something wrong.
If something is wrong, check your internet connection. If it ok and the problem persist, check the Incoming Mail Server is correct as well as the Outgoing Mail Server:
Incoming Mail Server, Host Name: pop3.live.com
Outgoing Mail Server, SMTP: smtp.live.com, Server Port: 25, Use SSL: yes.
