I know there is a lot of conversation going on concerning the placement of the ads in Hotmail. Frankly I prefer them on the right, but don't really care where they are. This is a free app and I'm just thankful to have the opportunity to use it. However, what I am very concerned about is the types of ads being displayed. In many cases they are not suitable for children in my opinion and because of that, my 10-year old daughter is not allowed to use Hotmail. Not only do I find them not suitable for children, I personally find many of them offensive. I don't need to flirt with anyone or find people to date. I have to wonder if this is the wholesome corporate image that Microsoft should be presenting. I believe Hotmail should be suitable for family use by people of all ages.
