I’ve always wanted to have Windows Live SkyDrive on my desktop, and i’m surprised that Microsoft still hasn’t created a desktop application. But, until they do, I have a solution. Introducing, Gladinet!

All you have to do is go to www.gladinet.com and download and run the installation file.

Note: This is a beta program, and may cause problems.

Durring the setup, make sure you check the “Start WebClient if necessary” button.

After the instillation is complete, run the program.

In the window that pops up, click “Mount Disk Storage or Web Storage as Virtual Directory”

Then click the drop-down box and then “Windows Live SkyDrive”

Then type in your Windows Live ID and password, and click “Add.” You’re finished!

To add more services, or if the window did not pop up, right-click the Gladinet icon in the system tray, and click “Start Page.” Now follow the steps above.

And that’s it! You now have Windows Live SkyDrive(and a bunch of other services, for that matter) on your desktop!

As always, enjoy!
