To See Or Not To See
With the most recent release of Microsoft Live Spaces you can control what is seen and what is not! Let me dig into that one a little deeper and make it easier to understand.
We all know that "Live Spaces" is a sanctuary of sorts for some of us. Whether we use it as a way to share things with everyone around the world or just make it part of our own private world, you can now determine how much of what you do around the network is see by everyone or just yourself.
See the red arrow on my illustration? It is pointing towards the option link that you should see on your home page when you log into "Live Spaces". Click on "Options" and then click on "More Options". This will unlock your world as to what you want to see from others around the network and what you want to be seen from your own world!
So What Can I Control
With security and privacy being at the top of almost everyone's list these days, Microsoft Live Spaces now gives you the flexibility to control exactly how much of what you do is able to be seen by other people. If that was not enough they, also, give you full control of how much you want to see from others as well.
Radical.....don't you think? I think it was the best feature that the developers from "Live Spaces" put together for us!
This is one area you will truly want to spend some time in and see all the wonderful features that have been released in an effort to protect your privacy and those you love. Take full control! We all know that we have friend's and family that we want to see some of our favorite photo's but maybe we don't want the entire world to have access to them. In this area you can pre-determine who can see them and leave comments and who can't.
Previously in "Live Spaces" if a person was on your network, they had full access to your information. Now you can select those individuals that you want to be able to have the ability to see various portions of the things you share.
Flexibility, control and selection are but a few of the new item's that Microsoft is placing into each of our hands. We realize that their is a bundle of information to learn and put into place, however, once you have it all digested and in working order ......you, too, will be able to see the wonderful tools that have been placed into our hands.
As with anything that is different that what we became used too, there will always be a little time involved to regain control and learn just how easy it truly is to control our worlds again!
I, too, was skeptical at first.....however, after having had the opportunity to sit and navigate the wonderful features that have been developed for all us I can only say "Thank You" to the wonderful team and developers around Microsoft Live Spaces and the team of hard working individuals who took the time to hear what we were saying and put it into action.
Continuing To Educate
As we grow with the new release you can count on the team here at Microsoft Live Spaces Resource Center to continue to deliver timely and effective material to assist you along your way! For those of you who have been around "Live Spaces" for a while this will be a snap for you to adjust to! As for those who may be new to the arena look at this as jumping on board at an incredible time in one of the quickest growing Social Networking platforms to be released.
