So now you have chosen a theme for your Space, and customized it to suit you. What else can you change in your Space? Let’s take a look shall we? Well, you can also change the LAYOUT of the MODULES that make up your SPACES page.
1. As always, navigate to the SPACES customize screen via your HOME page by clicking on the MORE tab, then choosing SPACES and then clicking on CUSTOMIZE YOUR SPACE at the top.
2. Now click on the LAYOUT TAB from the CUSTOMIZE yellow area. You will then be presented with the LAYOUT drop down window where you choose a different LAYOUT for your SPACE.
3. Click on top of all the different LAYOUTS available to try them out. Once you are happy with your chosen LAYOUT, then click on CLOSE TAB a and then click on SAVE in the yellow CUSTOMIZE area at the top. Hmm, now my MODULES are not where I want them to be! I need to change my BLOG MODULE and my FRIENDS MODULE.
4. So let’s click on CUSTOMIZE at the top and then select from the drop down list REARRANGE OR HIDE MODULES.
5. Now if you place your cursor at the top of each MODULE that you wish to move, and then left click and HOLD, you will be able to then DRAG AND DROP your chosen MODULE to the area where you want it to be inside your chosen FORMAT.
6. Once you are quite happy with where your MODULES are now placed in your SPACES page, then just click on SAVE.
Next the TITLE of my SPACE doesn’t quite fit in with the rest of it. The TITLE font is in the wrong colour and I don’t like it on the left hand side of the TITLE MODULE so let’s change it.
7. Click on EDIT on the left hand side of the TITLE AND TAGLINE MODULE and an EDIT window will then be available where you can make any changes that you want to your TITLE AND TAGLINE. As you can see, you are given the usual choices that you are familiar with by now such as changing the TITLE font and its SIZE, the COLOUR of the font and whether or not to have your TITLE in BOLD, ITALIC or UNDERLINED. Go ahead and try all the different choices out. You can easily see the results below in the PREVIEW area.
8. A new choice in this EDIT window for your TITLE AND TAGLINE is ALIGNMENT which allows you to place your TITLE text to either the left, centre or the right of your TITLE MODULE. Again, try each position out to see what it looks like in the PREVIEW window.
9. Now you can decide whether or not to add a TAGLINE to your TITLE MODULE. Its basically following the same steps that you have just done whilst setting up and editing your TITLE so try different things out to see how it all looks in the PREVIEW area, then once you are happy with your changes, just click on SAVE in the yellow CUSTOMIZE area.
And that’s it! You have now chosen a different LAYOUT for your SPACE, moved some MODULES around and altered your SPACES TITLE and given it a TAGLINE!
