Trying to create the perfect screen shot capture can be hard sometimes that’s why we need to explore what our options are as far as tools to use to accomplish this. Windows Live Photo Gallery has some really great tools to help you create some really nice screen shots and out line them. I recently discovered the ability to use there photo enhancer to Out line area's I would like to point out to my viewers. I will use this screen shot as a example in this blog post.
In this screen shot I will start to out line area’s I want you to see so you can understand what I am trying to show you. This is a great way to point out area’s that you want others to see so they also may learn how to use different programs and even software or help them also describe items they would like to teach to others
Once you have uploaded your photo or images to Windows Live Gallery there are a few options you can choose from. By using the menu bar at the top our your live gallery choose the Extras option.
1-When you have decided on a screen shot you would like to outline just click on the Extras tab
2-Next click on the Paint option to begin your out lining
3-Click on the Rectangle or item of your choice you see in the left hand menu. You should see a drop down menu with different high lighter Icons.
4-Choose which Out Liner you would like to use for your demonstration there are a number of size’s and shapes you can choose
5-Click on the Color tab to set the correct color for your screen Capture out liner. In this case I am using RED
6-Now click on the Edit Colors tab to choose a color
7-You will see the the Color Menu, window here you can choose any color you like for your Screen shot show case.
8-After you have chosen the color you want just click OK to complete
9-Begin to drag your Cursor over the area you want to out line shown below
10-Continue this process throughout your session in order to complete your task
11-As a example this will be the out come of this How-to screen shot this is a great way to get your point across to others. Windows Live has all the tools to create a great looking How-to sessions all you have to do is apply your self to make it happen.
