  1. 1. Choose a contact

    Select the person you want to chat with.

  2. 2. Click Video

    An invitation will be sent to your contact and once they’ve accepted your invitation, your video chat can begin.

  3. 3. Start chatting

    Now you’re ready to chat in high-resolution. You can resize your video window, so you can work on other things while talking, or let several people view live video on a larger screen.

  • *To place a PC to PC call, both users must have Windows Live Messenger installed, a compatible microphone, speakers or a headset, a webcam, and a broadband connection.
